The Plant was founded in 1912 in Arkul backwater of Vyatka province at area of 113 355 sq.m. For the period of existence at the plant were constructed more than 100 items of different fleet, including:

• about 400 barges with carrying capacity from 100 to 3000 tons;
• 192 motor vessels with an engine capacity of 150-300 hp

The Plant has successfully worked with foreign partners: Bulgaria, Romania, the Netherlands.

The plant has construction areas for self-propelled and not self-propelled fleet with a powerful crane equipment (bridge cranes with carrying capacity up to 20 m - 4 pcs and gantries with carrying capacity up to 32 tons -. 2 pcs.), Ship salvage device - slipway, designed for service simultaneously 15 units of fleet. The plant can process up to 2000 tons of metal in a year.

The structure of workshops directly involved in in shipbuilding consists of ship machinery areas to generate mechanisms and equipment for the enterprise and for others.
